Ecofan - Heat Powered - Stove Fans

The Caframo Ecofan 800 Original and 812 Airmax are heat-powered fans designed to circulate the warm air created by a wood-stove operating with a normal surface temperatures of between 205°C and 345°C. These fans use neither batteries or mains power. An Improvement of warm air circulation results in greater comfort and less fuel consumption.

Warm air is circulated directly into the living space rather than having most of the heat from the stove rise immediately to the ceiling, which increases the heating efficiency of your stove.

The unique anodised gold or nickel coloured blade has been specially designed to deliver a very broad cross section of gently blowing air instead of a small range of concentrated air.

Ecofans start automatically and adjust in revolutions with the stove's temperature. As the stove increases in heat the Ecofan runs faster to move more air into the room. As the stove burns down and cools, the Ecofan reduces revolutions until it slows down and stops.

Ecofans run using the heat from the stove. The Ecofan is the most economical way to efficiently circulate warm air in your room. It does not use any batteries or external power source.
Ecofans are made from anodised aluminium that will not rust. Bi-metal strips in the base of Ecofans help prevent the fan from overheating. (800 Original design only; the 812 Airmax is no longer fitted with such strips)
